Mini Teethie Workshop, Sunday the 15th of November, 1 x 3 hour workshop, 12:30-15:30
One 3-hour workshop, at Inbristol Studios in Barton Hill in Bristol, making your very own teethie. You will be shown how to shape the teethie, give it personality, slip paint it from a selection of lovely coloured slips (clay that covers the surface and is used as paint to unfired ceramics). Afterwards, once your teethie has dried, I will glaze it with a transparent glaze, and kiln fire it, and you can then take it home!
CANCELLATION POLICY; If you need to cancel, please do so as soon as possible. Please note that if you cancel within one week of the workshop, no refund will be given. If two weeks before the start of the workshop, you will get a partial refund, minus £15 to cover materials and other costs. Before this cut off date, you will be given a full refund. If the workshop leader is unable to do the workshop due to illness or such you will be refunded the full amount minus £15 to cover costs unless another date can be planned.
PARENTS - PLEASE READ: Please let me know beforehand if you are bringing someone younger than 18 with you. Children are welcome however some of the process of making the teethie demands a bit of grip strength.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Please let me know if you have any additional needs, and I will try to accommodate them as well as I can. There is wheel chair access to the building but unfortunately we do not have wheel chair accessible toilets. I also have a video of the route from Lawrence Hill Station up to the studio if you need to familiarise yourself with the area - let me know if you would like me to send that to you beforehand.
