Stoneware mugs with octopus motive on the outside. Done by the method of scraffitto - (making a drawing by cutting into the unfired slip surface) or octopus hand painted with blue slip. The mugs have been fired 3 times - the last time after having real 24 carat gold applied and fired on. Please note that because of the gold, the mugs cannot be used in the microwave.
